This work is based in its entirety on Josh Wardle's simply brilliant (or brilliantly simple) game. This is a total ripoff, so obviously, I have no claims to copyrights on this game whatsoever. Any such rights would probably sit with the NY Times at this point.

TL;DR

There are no Norwegian versions of either Spelling Bee or Wordle out there. I think there should be and so I made my own version of the latter. Apparently, a lot of other people have made their own versions of the game already, so with any luck I won't be sued over this.
I built a Norwegian dictionary from a compiled Aspell dictionary (open source) and the official scrabble dictionary from the Norwegian scrabble association (yes, there is such a thing). The scrabble dictionary contains a whole bunch of terms that are very rarely used, so I compiled a blacklist as well. Blacklisted words are accepted, but they will never be a solution. It seems to be accurate enough. Currently there are 11194 words in the dictionary. 5476 of these may be a solution.
I wanted the option to play consecutive games and not have to wait for "tomorrows word". Just refresh the page and have another go. Also, there's no collection of statistics in this version. Hence, no cookies.
